Gorizia
An old lady takes a seat on her stairlift and goes through three floors. The three floors of the elevator form the chapters of the film: While the elevator creaks from the basement to the upper floor, astronauts swim through a river, get into a rocket and take off.
In the northern Italian town of Gorizia, cave explorers climb out of their karst caves into the pubs and philosophize about the cosmos. A satirical mockumentary about the below, the above, micro and macro. Insights into the passions of the speleologists are combined with a distorted space aesthetic.
